Obermycin™ 125

FOR ANIMAL USE ONLY

 

COMPOSITION: 

Each ml contains:

Oxytetracycline Hydrochloride 125 mg

 

DIRECTIONS FOR USE - use only as directed

Recommended daily dosages per 100 kg body mass via one of the following routes:

NOTE: in very severe infections it is desirable to double the first dose. For rapid recovery a prompt and accurate diagnosis must be made. Consult a veterinarian.

 

WARNINGS:

• DO NOT USE IN DOGS.
• Allow 48 hours between last treatment and milking for human consumption. Do not slaughter animals for human consumption within 7 days of last treatment.
• Keep out of reach of children, uninformed persons and animals.
• Although this remedy has been extensively tested under a large variety of conditions failure thereof may ensue as a result of a wide range of reasons. If this is suspected, seek veterinary advice and notify the registration holder.

 

Intravenous injections 

When the intravenous route is used the injection should be given slowly into the selected vein and at the first signs of discomfort or restlessness on the part of the animal it should be halted momentarily. A small gauge needle should preferably be used. 

 

Repetition of treatment

Treatment must be repeated daily at the prescribed dosages until full recovery has taken place.

 

STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS:

Store in a cool place, but do not freeze. As with all oxytetracycline HCI solutions darkening may occur, but there is no loss of efficacy.

 

PRESENTATION:

Obermycin 125 is packed in 100 ml and 500 ml bottles.
